CFD simulation of conical nozzle

Abstract


The aim of this report is to describe and discuss the CFD analysis of a convergent-divergent conical nozzle. This analysis was conducted to estimate the region in which the flow within the nozzle transforms from laminar to turbulent flow given known experimental measurements of the inflow. The outflow conditions will be taken after computation using CFD++ analysis software and compared to other hypersonic nozzle experiments.
